Meet Michelle LeDonne, CEO "Chief Esthetics Officer"
Michelle is a licensed esthetician who has been caring for skin since 2013. She graduated valedictorian of the Von Lee School of Aesthetics and is an expert HydraFacial and ZO Skin Health trainer. Her specialty is hyperpigmentation and melasma: the dark spots and uneven tone that take patience, the right products and a steady plan to improve.
She opened SkinGuru Spa in Santa Monica in 2023 to create a quiet, private place for results-driven skincare without the rush of a busy medical spa.
Why we treat the scalp like skin
When HydraFacial brought its Keravive technology to the scalp, Michelle saw clients get the same kind of results on their scalp that they had seen on their face. That idea became ScalpGuru, and the first Japanese Head Spa in Santa Monica. Our Scalp Nirvana head spa pairs the traditional Japanese ritual with a clinical approach, starting with a microscope look at your scalp so every treatment fits what we actually see.

Michelle's father, Dr. John LeDonne, MD, is SkinGuru's clinical advisor. Together they review new research and vet our treatments for safety and proven results, so what we offer is what the science supports.
